Trade Line Receptionist is a sole trader telephone answering service based in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. It is run by [ADD NAME]. This notice explains what personal information we handle and why.
Who is responsible
For this website and for enquiries you send to us, Trade Line Receptionist is the data controller. For calls we answer on a trade client’s line, we take the details so we can pass them to that client. We do not use those details for marketing.
Contact: EMAIL or DEMO_NUMBER.
What we collect
- From callers: name, telephone number, postcode, nature of the job, and urgency. We collect this through the AI receptionist so we can send a job sheet to the trade whose line rang.
- From people who contact us: whatever you send by telephone, text or email when you ask about a trial or the service.
- From client login accounts: email address, firm name, greeting, hours, notification number, and the plan you choose.
Why we use it
We use this information to answer calls in the client’s name, to pass the job on, to run the account, and to reply to you. We do not sell personal data. We do not use it for advertising.
The legal bases we rely on under UK GDPR are: performing a contract with a client; legitimate interests in answering a caller and passing their message to the right firm; and, where you write to us first, our need to respond.
Who we share it with
Job details go to the trade client for that call, usually by text and email. We use a telephone provider and hosting so the line and this website can run. We do not sell lists or share caller details with other trades.
How long we keep it
Job sheets are kept long enough to deliver them and to deal with a follow-up. Client account information is kept while the account is open and for a short period after it is closed, then deleted or put beyond use unless the law requires us to keep it.
Cookies
This marketing site does not use advertising or analytics cookies. If you sign in to client login, a session cookie is set so you stay signed in. That cookie is necessary for the account to work. There is no cookie banner because we do not track you around the web.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your information, have it corrected or deleted, or object to our using it, by emailing EMAIL. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
